Police in Arizona investigate body found in Colorado River

Police in Bullhead City, Arizona, are conducting an investigation following the recovery of a man’s body from the Colorado River.

Agency spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said a resident spotted the body in the river near the 2700 block of Camino Del Rio last Friday.

“There were no visible signs of trauma to the body to suggest any foul play. However the cause of death is still to be determined,” Fromelt said.

She said the victim’s name is withheld until positive identification is confirmed and kin is properly notified.

Fromelt said it is unknown how the man came to be in the river.
