Southwest valley crash injures woman in wheelchair

A woman in a wheelchair was injured in a Tuesday afternoon vehicle crash in the southwest valley.

Las Vegas police responded at 3:05 p.m. to the crash on Port Douglas Court and Russell Road, near Buffalo Drive, where a vehicle struck a woman in a motorized wheelchair, said Metro’s Lt. Mark Reddon.

It appeared that her injuries were not serious, Reddon said, and no one was taken to the hospital.
