A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries late Friday night after being hit by a pick-up truck in the southeast valley, according to Las Vegas police.

The man, 46-year-old Sergio Weatherly, of Las Vegas, was hit by a 2015 Toyota Tacoma when he was crossing Tropicana Avenue, near Topaz Street about 11:45 p.m., police said.

Weatherly, who police said was not on a designated crosswalk, was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with critical injuries.

Two 35-year-olds in the Tacoma were not injured, police said.
