1 injured as Las Vegas shooting snarls I-15 traffic

A morning shooting snarled southbound Interstate 15 traffic during the morning rush hour Wednesday.
One person was taken to University Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening, the Metropolitan Police Department said.
According to police, the incident occurred about 5:30 a.m. on I-15 and Washington Avenue.

Nevada Highway Patrol said that I-15 southbound from Lake Mead to Washington was closed while police investigated.
The delays cleared by the middle of the morning.
