Sunny, warm weekend in store for Las Vegas Valley

A sunny, warm weekend is in the cards for the Las Vegas Valley, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday’s cloudless skies should see high temperatures peak about 102 degrees, with breezes blowing about 5 mph in the afternoon and evening. Nighttime lows are forecast for about 80 degrees.

Sunday is expected to see similar conditions with sunny skies and temperatures reaching 103, the weather service said. Afternoon breezes will give way to a slightly windy evening with gusts blowing up to 20 mph. The weather service predicts a low temperature of 80 degrees Sunday night.

Monday should be slightly cooler with high temperatures peaking at 100 degrees and nighttime lows dipping to 76.
