Mayweather to Rousey: Call me when you make $300M in 36 minutes

Floyd Mayweather Jr. bobbed and weaved a bit before finally throwing a jab at Ronda Rousey.

During an interview on ESPN “SportsCenter” on Thursday, Mayweather was asked his thoughts about Rousey recently winning an ESPY award for Fighter of the Year.

“A while back I didn’t know who Ronda Rousey was, so I’m pretty sure she got upset. I want to say congratulations to Ronda Rousey and the UFC,” Mayweather said. “You guys have done a tremendous job and I’ve won probably six or seven ESPYs for Fighter of the Year. And I truly believe she deserves it. Congratulations to Ronda Rousey.”

Mayweather was then asked about the jab Rousey made at the ESPYs about his history of domestic violence:

“I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once.”

Responded Mayweather:

“I’ve yet to see any MMA fighter, or other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 minutes. When she can do that, then, call me.”
