Mellow weather ushers in Friday

It’s too early to tell if the valley has seen its final triple-digit day of the year, but Las Vegans won’t get one on Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

The latest the valley has seen triple-digit conditions is Oct. 4, meteorologist Clay Morgan said.

Thursday’s high was 99 degrees, with a low of 79 degrees, Morgan said. Friday should be cooler, with temperatures expected to reach 95 degrees.

The low should dip to a pleasant 75 degrees, Morgan said.
