Nothing but sunshine expected Thursday in Las Vegas

It’s going to be a bright, sunshiny day, Las Vegas.

There is no chance of rain through the end of the weekend, National Weather Service meteorologist Reid Wolcott said Thursday morning.

Temperatures will reach 89 degrees in the valley, and the low Thursday morning was 69 degrees.

“This is one of the reasons we live in Las Vegas,” Wolcott said. “It’s gonna be a great day.”

Over the weekend, high temperatures will be in the low to mid-90s. Expect light breezes in the afternoons.
