1 dead in rollover crash near Jean

A man is dead after a single-vehicle rollover Saturday morning on Interstate 15, south of Las Vegas, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

NHP was called about 8:30 a.m. to a rollover crash on southbound I-15, about 3 miles north of the Jean exit, said NHP Trooper Loy Hixson.

The driver of the car, described only as a man, was the only occupant in the vehicle, Hixson said.

Traffic was not affected because the car went off of the roadway, Hixson said.
