Man hit at bus stop dies from injuries

A wheelchair-bound man hit by a car and critically injured Saturday while waiting at a bus stop died Thursday, according to a release from Metro.

Bruce Lee, 72, was hit by a 2004 Saturn that lost control after colliding with a 2009 Chrysler in the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Bonanza Road, according to a Sunday release from Metro.

Lee was taken to University Medical Center where he remained in critical condition until died Thursday, according to Metro.

The driver of the Saturn, Noah Moffett, 54, was suspected of driving under the influence, the release said. It was not immediately clear if Moffett has been charged.
