More pleasant weather expected in Las Vegas Valley

More pleasant weather is in store for the Las Vegas Valley moving into the weekend.

The 79-degree high for Thursday will be the beginning of a warming trend that will last through next week, according to the National Weather Service.

“We’ll continue warming and be in the 80s a lot of next week,” NWS meteorologist Caleb Steele said Thursday.

Lows will stay around 60 degrees.

There’s no chance for rain in the immediate future.
