1 killed, 2 injured in a three-vehicle Henderson crash

Updated September 1, 2022 - 12:18 pm

One person died and two others were critically injured in a three-vehicle crash in Henderson on Wednesday night.

The crash occurred around 8:20 p.m. when a silver Honda collided with a black Ford while driving north in the South Valle Verde Drive and Clearwater Canyon Drive area, according to the Henderson Police Department. The crash caused the Ford to drive into the southbound lane and collide with a grayish Hyundai SUV, partially ejecting the driver of the Ford.

The Clark County coroner’s office ruled that David William Dunmire, 54, of Las Vegas, died in a nearby planter bed at the scene. Two other people were taken to a local hospital.

Speed and reckless driving were considered were factors in the crash, police said. Impairment was not considered a factor.
