2 killed in central Las Vegas shooting

Two people were killed in a shooting in central Las Vegas on Friday night.

Officers were called at 10:13 p.m. to the 1900 block of Cindysue Street, near West Lake Mead Boulevard, after a report of a shooting, according to a statement from the Metropolitan Police Department.

Investigators believe two men knocked on the door of an apartment and got into a fight with a man and a woman inside.

The shooter ran away before police arrived.

The victims will be identified after their family is notified.
