It’s expected to be a cold, windy Christmas in Las Vegas
The chances for a white Christmas are practically nonexistent for most of the Las Vegas Valley, the National Weather Service said.
Unless you’re a Summerlin resident.
But even then, the northwest valley on Friday morning is not expected to see more than a few snow flurries if the conditions are right, meteorologist Caleb Steele said.
What everyone in the valley should expect is cold, wind and maybe rain, Steele said. Cloudy conditions seen Thursday morning should dissipate by the afternoon, but return Thursday night.
Winds from the north should bring a front that cools the valley to about 39 degrees overnight, Steele said.
The high for Thursday is expected at 56 degrees, Steele said.
Friday’s temperatures aren’t expected to rise above 49 degrees, Steele said.
