With two of the best young players in baseball squaring off at Wrigley Field this week, Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper and Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant sat down together for a wide-ranging pregame interview on ESPN.
The Las Vegas natives talked about playing against each other growing up, when Harper’s nickname was “Mondo” and Bryant’s was “Silk.” They also praised each other’s games — with Bryant even complimenting Harper’s hair — and the other big league players who have come out of Las Vegas.
