Teens welcome at Saturday job fair

Clark County School Police are helping to sponsor a free youth job fair for students ages 16 to 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Clark High School.

“We will have a variety of businesses from the community represented at this event,” said school police officer Robert Mayer. “Whether students are looking for internship opportunities or employment for this summer, this will be an ideal opportunity for them to reach that goal.”

Students are encouraged to dress in professional attire and bring several copies of their resumes. The job fair will give students the opportunity to develop skills with workshops, interviews and job placements.

The job fair is also sponsored by Jobs for American Graduates and the City of Las Vegas.

Clark High School is located at 4291 Pennwood Ave., near Arville Street and Sahara Avenue.
