Flags fly at veterans cemetery in Boulder City for Memorial Day — PHOTOS

More than 35 organizations joined forces Saturday morning to place flags at grave sites at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City for Memorial Day weekend.

The nonprofit National Order of Trench Rats local Dugout 421, an auxiliary of the Disabled American Veterans, needs donations to keep up with the increased demand for U.S. flags as more and more World War II, Korea and Vietnam veterans die.

Anyone can donate by making checks payable to NOTR Dugout 421 and mailing them to Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
