Cavs fan who got ‘2015 NBA Champs’ tattoo has no regrets — VIDEO

The Las Vegas Wranglers’ now-defunct ECHL hockey team used to hold a “Regrettable Tattoo Night.”

That promotion would’ve been perfect for a Cleveland Cavaliers fan who got a “2015 NBA Champs” tattoo on his lower leg before the NBA Finals started.

“I was like look, if the Cavs get to the finals, I’m getting a tattoo before, before they win and it’s gonna happen,” Lonynell Coleman told 19-Action News. “They say we’re cursed? I’m gonna reverse it.”

When Cleveland lost in six games to the Golden State Warriors, Coleman — who superstitious sorts might claim jinxed his team — joined a long line of other fans whose daring tattoos backfired on them.

However, Coleman insisted he has no regrets in a series of tweets, posting “I’m not changing nothing on this tattoo. This year was a great one and this is always gonna be a memory. … Great year for my Cavs. I’m not disappointed in what we did with a first year, injury plagued team. Just know next year we coming harder. … Yall getting me more famous.”

Luckily for Coleman, he can easily turn that five into a six if Cleveland wins it all next year. But if the Cavs don’t get it done in 2016, he might want to keep an eye out for a “Regrettable Tattoo Night” near him.

A Chicago Cubs fan took a safer route on his huge back tattoo, listing world champions in 1907, 1908 and 20, leaving space for the year he hopes the Cubbies win the World Series in this century.
