Las Vegas weather ‘pretty nice’ with mild temperatures

Go ahead and pack up your winter attire again, Las Vegans. At least until Friday.

Weather was “pretty nice” around the valley Tuesday, National Weather Service meteorologist Caleb Steele said.

After a chilly morning with temperatures in the 50s, the high on Tuesday hit 83 degrees, about 9 degrees below normal. Temperatures are expected to dip into the 60s overnight.

“This whole week will be below normal,” Steele said of the temperatures, which average 90 degrees this time of year.

Wednesday and Thursday are forecast to be dry with daytime highs in the low 80s, the weather service said.

Friday is the next chance of rain for the Las Vegas area, but showers will probably miss us to the north, Steele added. Friday should see highs about 75 degrees and nighttime lows about 61.
