Man fatally shot during fight in Henderson

Updated March 25, 2020 - 9:00 pm

A fight between two men ended with one of them fatally shot Wednesday afternoon in the southeast valley, according to Las Vegas police.

Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Ray Spencer said officers found a man in his 30s dead in a Mercedes-Benz sedan at 2:45 p.m. on the 6000 block of Allred Place, in a gated neighborhood near Boulder Highway and Russell Road.

Officers later arrested the other man, and he faces a murder charge, Spencer said.

Investigators believe the suspect shot the man in his 30s after the man drove away during a dispute, Spencer said. Once shot, the man’s sedan crashed into another vehicle.

The man was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he died.

Spencer said both men knew each other, but investigators Wednesday evening were still trying to figure out their relationship. Their names have not been released.
