UFC vet Cerrone to make welterweight debut in Pittsburgh headliner

Just two months after unsuccessfully challenging for the Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight title, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone will make his welterweight debut in Pittsburgh on Feb. 21.

Cerrone, who was knocked out by lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos in Orlando on Dec. 19, will fight Tim Means in the main event of UFC Fight Night 82, the organization announced on Friday.

Means, who has won five of his last six fights, is coming off a second-round knockout of John Howard on Dec. 10 in Las Vegas.

The main card, which also features a bantamweight bout between Cody Garbrandt and John Lineker, will air on Fox Sports 1.
