Temps staying in the 50s this week in Las Vegas Valley
November 30, 2016 - 7:11 am
The Las Vegas Valley is expected to be chilly Thursday with periods of strong winds, the National Weather Service said.
The high for Thursday should reach 56 degrees.
Staying on the cool side, Friday’s high should be 54 degrees with Saturday at 57 degrees and Sunday at 60 degrees.
Lows will be in the 40s the rest of the week.
“The biggest concern” of the week is Friday’s strong winds, said meteorologist Clay Morgan, with strong north winds coming in at 35 mph. “There is a chance a wind advisory from the eastern pocket of Clark County may be dragged out to the west.”
Three shelters are open in Las Vegas for homeless people, with day and evening hours.
