The Lights FC will play Major League Soccer’s D.C. United at 8 p.m. Saturday at Cashman Field. It’s the team’s last game before its March 17 regular-season opener at Fresno FC. The Lights will be looking for a result after two preseason losses. They’ll also have a lighter squad after trimming their roster from 30 to 22 players. Forward/attacking midfielder Gerardo Lugo was the most notable loss. All the guys that stay here have the opportunity to stay in the Las Vegas Lights now. No more cuts.
