Las Vegas’ largest gaming companies (by employment) have 58 members on their corporate boards combined. Nine of whom are women. Only two of these companies— MGM Resorts International and Boyd Gaming Corp—have female representation on their boards that is higher than the national average. Nationally, women in S&P 500 companies make up about 21.2% of corporate boards, according to Catalyst, a nonprofit working to advance women in business.
