93 Days of Summer: Day 93 — Tournament of Kings Dinner and Show

It’s coming to an end. Ooh, it’s gone by so quickly. Yes, the 93 days of summer that began officially on June 1 with nearly three full months of brutally hot temperatures are coming to an end this week. Summer officially ends on Sept. 21, and Friday sees the beginning of fall.

It was also the day in 1776 that Nathan Hale was hanged for spying during the American Revolution; and in 1888 the first issue of National Geographic magazine was published. In 1980, when Iraq invaded Iran, much of the mid-East horrors of today began. It’s also the day in 1927, when Tommy Lasorda, the famed baseball coach, player and manager was born, as was staunch Keep Memory Alive supporter here in Las Vegas, Andrea Bocelli in 1958. It’s also the day in 2015 when baseball’s superstar Yogi Berra died.

As we notice the drop in temperatures from now, we note that it’s the first day of autumn that runs until winter sets in on Dec. 21. Here are our final days of things to do while its still summer:
