Cast members from the extraordinary new production “Circus 1903” at Paris Las Vegas are set for a thrilling performance on “The Late Late Show” with James Corden on CBS-TV just after midnight Sept. 11) The program actually airs here at 12:37 a.m early tomorrow morning (Sept. 12) on KLAS-TV.
Since its Las Vegas debut in July, the exhilarating turn-of-the-century circus spectacular has been met with tremendous acclaim by theatergoers and critics alike. Hailed as “captivating” by our colleagues at the Las Vegas Review-Journal and “not like any circus you’ve ever seen” by other critics the nostalgia-filled stage spectacle utilizes sensational puppetry to put elephants back in the ring as never seen before, The kids love the huge elephant operated by three hidden puppeteers and then fall in love with the baby elephant. Talk about adorable and captivating — and they even harmlessly spray gentle water from their trunks over the front rows of the audience.
The huge cast includes unique, amazing and dangerous circus acts from all four corners of the world, from strong men to contortionists, acrobats to musicians, high wire and much more!
I’ll have my review of the production in next Sunday’s Review Journal along with an interview with the ringmaster who redefines magic and holds the entire production together with humor and sophistication!
“Circus 1903” — The Golden Age of circus performs in the Paris Theater at Paris Las Vegas Tuesday through Sunday at 7 p.m., with additional performances at 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and is dark on Monday.
