Bono had to pass on singing Irish anthem for McGregor — VIDEO

According to UFC president Dana White, securing a performer to sing Ireland’s national anthem for Conor McGregor at the boxing event on Aug. 26 came down to the wire. The promotion had also reached out to Bono from U2 who had to turn down the offer.

White also says the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor fight card is not sold out. He also names some of the celebrities who may show up to the event at the T-Mobile Arena.
