Tonight in Las Vegas: Tropicana turns 60 years old; Moderatto rocks House of Blues

TONIGHT IN LAS VEGAS

It was 60 years ago today that residents received a preview of The Tropicana ahead of its opening the next day. It cost $15 million, and it brought newly defined opulence and luxury to the Strip.

Jarrett & Raja of Las Vegas unveil their magic dinner show, “Magician vs. Maestro,” in their showroom at Hooters Casino.

Mexican metal parody band Moderatto is anything but modest in their lack-of-control rock party at House of Blues at Mandalay Bay.
