Warm temps continue in Las Vegas; cooler weather in store

Updated February 7, 2018 - 9:10 pm

The Las Vegas Valley will see a few more days of warm and sunny weather before temperatures start to fall.

A high of 75 is forecast for Thursday. The valley should continue to see light, sporadic winds through Friday evening, according to the National Weather Service.

Expect cooler temperatures and winds as a cold front blows into the valley Saturday afternoon, meteorologist John Salmen said. Winds should be between 15 and 25 mph, with gusts up to about 40 mph, he said.

“I think Saturday will be a gorgeous day,” Salmen said. “Just a little breezy.”

Sunday’s high will fall to about 65 degrees, and winds will die down as the day progresses, according to the weather service. Monday’s forecast high is 66, and Tuesday’s high is expected to fall to 64 degrees.
