Beazer to host grand opening for Mesquite age-qualified community

Beazer Homes will host the grand opening of Shadow Crest at Mesquite on July 31 and Aug. 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shadow Crest, an age-qualified community, will feature 68 single-family homes on a 13-acre site in the Highlands Vista master plan at the intersection of Hardy Way and Hilltop Trail. The gated community is a 90-minute drive from Las Vegas, and situated near the Interstate 15 freeway and Mesquite shopping, dining and recreation.

Shaquille O’Neal buys Las Vegas estate for $2M

Basketball Hall of Famer and TNT NBA analyst Shaquille O’Neal, who has business ties in Las Vegas, has sold the home he bought in Southern Highlands pre-pandemic and turned around and paid nearly $2 million for a private 1-acre compound near Wayne Newton’s former estate in the southeast valley, according to the listing agent’s social media post.

HOA board candidates must be homeowners in good standing

Under NRS 116.31034 (4a and 4b), each candidate is to make a good faith effort to disclose any financial, business, professional or personal relationship or interest that would appear to be a potential conflict of interest if the candidate was elected to the board. In addition, the candidate is to disclose whether he or she is a member of good standings. The law defines a member of good standings to be one that does not owe any assessment and or construction penalties.
