UNLV’s Bryan Bonnell shares Mountain West pitcher of the week honors
UNLV right-hander Bryan Bonnell was named the Mountain West co-pitcher of the week on Monday. The Centennial High grad shared the weekly award with Fresno State’s Tim Borst.
Bonnell (4-2) tossed a shutout on Sunday as the Rebels beat Fresno State, 7-0. He allowed five singles and a walk while striking out four in his third complete game of the year.
UNR first baseman Austin Byler was named player of the week.
