Career highlights:

■ In his only season, 6-foot-7-inch forward had 610 points (21.0 average) and 331 rebounds (11.4).

■ Had four games of at least 30 points, scoring a career-high 43 in a 98-94 victory over UC Irvine on Feb. 3, 1968.

■ The Rebels went 22-7 and reached the postseason under coach Rolland Todd.

After UNLV: Trapp, who is deceased, averaged 7.4 points over five NBA seasons with the San Diego Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers. Won a championship with the Lakers in 1972.
