UNLV volleyball set to face Chinese team in exhibition
The Rebels volleyball team will host the Shandong China Junior Team on Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. in the Cox Pavilion.
Shandong is in the midst of a two-week tour for training through the United States. The team is comprised of players ranging from 17- to 20-years old.
Shandong already has played St. Mary’s University of San Antonio and the UT-San Antonio on its tour, sweeping the latter school in three sets.
Fans can purchase tickets in advance and online for $5 ($8 at the window) while children 12 and under can attend free.
UNLV is 3-0 to start the season and hosts the Rebel Challenge on Friday and Saturday, a tournament that features Sacramento State, Hofstra and Cal State Northridge.
