UNLV swimmers, diver honored by Mountain West
Six UNLV athletes were recognized when the Mountain West announced its women’s swimming and diving all-conference team Tuesday.
Lady Rebels who finished in the top eight at last week’s conference championships were Julia Fehervari, 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle; Elena Gavrilova, 100-yard backstroke; Lina Rathsack, 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard breaststroke; Michelle Troup, 100-yard freestyle; and Michele Serra, 3-meter springboard. Three UNLV relay teams were recognized for finishing in the top three: 200-yard medley relay (Jessica Wong, Gavrilova, Rathsack and Fehervari) and 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relays (Fehervari, Troup, Gavrilova, Rathsack).
