UNLV men’s tennis falls short in Larry Easley tourney finals

The UNLV men’s tennis team couldn’t extend its run at the Larry Easley Memorial Classic, falling in three finals Sunday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

In the doubles final, Johannes Markel and Tamas Batyi lost 8-3 to Southern Methodist’s Mischa Nowicki and Arturs Kazijevs. Bernard Schoeman lost 6-3, 6-2 to SMU’s Nate Lammons in the Flight Two singles final, and Willie Sublette fell 6-1, 6-2 to Arizona’s Carlos Bermudez in the Flight Two consolation final.
