UNLV baseball team shut out at Grand Canyon
Three Grand Canyon pitchers limited UNLV to six hits in a 7-0 victory over the Rebels baseball team Tuesday night in Phoenix.
Designated hitter Dylan Ellis went 2-for-3 for UNLV (2-2). The Rebels’ best opportunity to score came in the eighth, when they had two runners in scoring position with two out before a strikeout ended the inning.
