Rebels volleyball players, coach honored
Five UNLV women’s volleyball players and its coach were honored by the Mountain West on Monday.
Cindy Fredrick was named coach of the year after guiding the Rebels to 26-7 record and 14-4 in conference, good for second place.
Four Rebels — senior litero Allison Davies, senior outside hitter Daryn Glenn, sophomore middle blocker Bree Hammel and freshman setter Alexis Patterson – were named to the all-conference team. Katlin Winters, a senior , was an honorable mention selection.
