Omar Clayton has no broken bones in throwing shoulder

X-ray results showed no broken bones in UNLV quarterback Omar Clayton’s throwing shoulder. He didn’t practice today, but is expected to participate Wednesday and Thursday. Clayton, whose injured knee is fine, will play in Saturday’s 1 p.m. game at UNR, but whether he or Mike Clausen starts will be decided that day.

Also, UNLV’s two Samoan players — Isaako Aaitui and Daniel Mareko — have not been able to reach family or friends after a tsunami hit their island in American Samoa today. At last count 39 people were killed.
