UNLV baseball team loses at Arkansas, ends trip 6-3

The UNLV baseball team fell 9-2 at Arkansas on Wednesday to conclude its trip at 6-3.

The nine-game trip marks the longest of the season for the Rebels.

Arkansas (21-13) led 7-0 after four innings. UNLV (23-10) finally scored with two runs in the seventh.

T.J. White hit a solo home run, and Joey Swanner doubled in Erik VanMeetren for the only runs for the Rebels, who managed just four hits.

UNLV returns home and to Mountain West play with a three-game set against San Jose State at Wilson Stadium beginning at 7:05 p.m. Friday.
