UFC middleweight Cung Le suspended after testing positive for HGH

Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Cung Le tested positive for Human Growth Hormone after his fight against Michael Bisping on Aug. 23 in Macau, the organization announced Tuesday.

Le was suspended for nine months and will be required to pass a drug test before competing in the organization again.

The 42-year-old middleweight was knocked out in the fourth round by Bisping, who had requested the organization do blood and urine testing for the fight.

The UFC acts as the sanctioning body for its events that are outside the jurisdiction of a recognized commission, such as in China.
