For the the first time, Helldorado Days and the PBR will merge for a three-day show running Friday through Sunday. The Last Cowboy Standing is the headline event Friday and Saturday, with the annual Helldorado rodeo running through the weekend.
To gear up for the Las Vegas Helldorado Days and the Professional Bull Rider’s Last Cowboy Standing event, PBR is hosting its annual charity bull riding competition Thursday night on Fremont Street — the Last Media Standing.
Las Vegas will give its annual salute to the Wild West this weekend, as the annual cowboy-themed Helldorado Days marches back into the city.
Helldorado Days has been around since 1934, but this year it won’t be putting on the festivities alone. The Professional Bull Riders will team with the historic event to put on the three-day show starting Friday.
The PBR, the Professional Bull Riders, will produce and promote a rodeo and a headline bull riding event as part of Las Vegas Helldorado Days in May, joining forces with local groups to celebrate the city’s Western roots.
