MMA Rankings: Magny finally cracks top 10 at welterweight

It has been a long, steady climb for Neil Magny to the top 10 of the welterweight division.

He has officially arrived in the CoveringTheCage.com rankings after his thrilling win over Hector Lombard in March.

Magny probably should have been there sooner. He has now won 10 of his last 11 fights and has proven willing to fight anyone at anytime.

World Series of Fighting lightweight champ Justin Gaethje has also cracked the rankings after a first-round knockout of Brian Foster improved his record to 16-0. Big challenges await him very soon.

The biggest controversy may be in the women’s bantamweight rankings. Ronda Rousey is back on top despite being out of action since her November loss to Holly Holm. Now that Miesha Tate has the title despite her two losses to Rousey, it would seem only a matter of time before Rousey has the belt once again. She’s already settled back into her familiar spot on top of the divisional rankings on this list.
