Ex-UFC champ Edgar to fight Swanson in Texas
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight champ Frankie Edgar will fight Cub Swanson in a matchup of featherweight contenders in the main event of a card Saturday in Austin, Texas.
Swanson has won six straight fights. Edgar has won two in a row since dropping to 145 pounds to unsuccessfully challenge Jose Aldo for the belt.
Also, Bobby Green will fight Edson Barboza in a lightweight bout.
The main card airs live on Fox Sports 1 (Cable 329) at 7 p.m., with the preliminary card beginning live on the same network at 5.
