Jon Jones avoids jail time with guilty plea in hit-and-run
MMA fighter Jon Jones reached a deal with prosecutors to avoid jail time with a guilty plea for the fourth-degree felony charge of leaving the scene of a hit-and-run accident.
Jones was in district court in Albuquerque on Tuesday to be sentenced to 18 months supervised probation and was informed by judge Charles Brown that he was beyond lucky.
Jones was cleared to travel for work-related purposes.
Jones remains suspended by the UFC.
