2 Silk in Silver – Lost all chance at the start in last; was beaten as a 3/5 chalk, won’t pay enough to get your money back.

1 Kid Rollins – Two OK thirds while running at this bottom class level; this is not one of the stronger cards you’ll get to see.

Long Shot – 7 Sheza Eyeopener

Race 2 – 7 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

7 Itsabeautifulday – Sliding down the maiden claiming ladder to this bottom rung; nearly got her picture taken last time out.

1 Visions of Candy – Has cashed a paycheck in her last three starts; not much horse, but this isn’t much of a field either.

Long Shot – 4 Cleverly Beverly

Race 3 – 1 mile, Purse $40,000, Claiming $40,000, 4-year-olds and up

1 Harlington Night – Big rider switch to Corey Nakatani for the money shot; second start off a 9-month hiatus.

4 Pulpit’s Express – Had a horrible trip in last so draw a line thru it; start of the Pick 6 with a rich $125K carryover.

Long Shot – 2 Carlsbad Mountain

Race 4 – 6 furlongs, Purse $27,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

6 Ryderroo – Still eligible after a DQ last time in a maiden claimer; repeat race may be enough to get the job done, again.

8 Tickle Again – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; need not be much horse to compete.

Long Shot – 2 Swiss Heart

Race 5 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 30 feet), Purse $35,000, Maiden claiming $75,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds

9 Lamazone – Was well bet in last and ran evenly; like the cutback in distance for going down the hillside turf course.

2 Hugh Knew – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; Saul Arias can ride and he won’t get bet.

Long Shot – 6 Secret Appeal

Race 6 – 6 furlongs, Purse $60,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 4-year-olds and up

2 Kate’s Event – Gets big class relief from stakes for this $62,500 price tag; rich amount to spend on a 7-YO horse.

4 War Academy – Sight unseen since eased in the Arkansas Derby; has ability, just have to ask Bob Baffert how ready is he?

Long Shot – 3 Omega Star

Race 7 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 30 feet), Purse $58,000, Allowance, 4-year-olds and up

8 Rangi – Has run 2 good races down the hill without winning; like the parking lot post, speed aided by turf rail out 30 feet.

2 Thunder Rode – Play on name of Bruce Springsteen song; it’s a town full of losers and I’m pulling out of here to win.

Long Shot – 5 Monument

Race 8 – 7 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds

8 Alice Roadtrain – Ran well considering how rough the start was; big rider switch in a real slowpoke race.

7 Controller – For forgiving handicappers only; draw a line thru the last debacle and her resume looks better than most of these.
