Post Time 12:30 p.m.
Race 1 – 7 1/2 furlongs, Purse $25,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
Wineshine – Baffert colt figures to be ready to rebound against these; tactical speed to sit a decent trip throughout.
Quick Enough – Gaines barn does not win a whole lot with first time starters; if he improves here, he’ll be double tough.
Long Shot – Native Success
Race 2 – 7 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Top It Off – Two decent efforts, now facing the slowest group in her brief career; betting stable likes to cash tickets.
Hottodi – You will have the advantage of seeing the betting on the four FTS; won’t take much for one of them to win here.
Long Shot – Warren’s Gold
Race 3 – 1 1/8th miles, Purse $54,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
Air Commander – Been away 9-months, but is the most talented horse in the race; Baffert is prepping for bigger and better.
Well Armed – Main track debut last time off a 18-month sabbatical was pretty good; stretches out, is bred to be a nice one.
Long Shot – Rocket Legs
Race 4 – 7 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Smokey Route – Dead late closer ran better than looked last time; rider switch to Garcia signals intent more than anything.
Light Amour – Another dead late closer in a race devoid of a real speed demon; rallied well last time in this class level.
Long Shot – Peaceful Dreams
Race 5 – 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $45,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
Buck – Speedball has a chance to steal this on the front end; turf rail out 15 feet will only help his cause.
Incriminate – Dead late closer needs others to soften up Buck to give him any chance; like Blanc to sit and fire late.
Long Shot – Mr. Ching
Race 6 – 6 furlongs, Purse $42,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 2-year-olds
Fantasy Free – Second best two times in a row, may be ready to finally crack through; tactical speed to sit a decent trip.
Dewey’s Special – Beaten favorite has taken a lot of betting in two career starts; the connections like him, bears watching.
Long Shot – Dr Zaentz
Race 7 – 7 furlongs, Purse $34,000, Claiming $50,000, 3-year-olds and up
Pick Vic – Tepid chalk gets class relief from allowance conditions for this claimer; his better races came at Hollywood.
Chief Teddybear – Dead late closer didn’t seem to handle the turf too well in last; his win two back was a real corker.
Long Shot – On Overdrive
Race 8 – 7 furlongs, $100,000 Moccasin, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Spring Awakening – Tepid chalk in a wide open stakes; love the rider switch to Gomez, who will settle and make one brush.
Sindy Jacobson – Private purchase for Team Valor has shown talent in two starts; she may not go far, but she’ll go fast.
Long Shot – The Golden Noodle
Race 9 – 1 1/16th miles (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $44,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds

Mr. Zarrow – Has some of the best grass and stamina pedigree in the field; closed well last time and is improving.
Long Shot – Star of Navarone
Best Bet – Left Unsaid (race 9)
