ARBOR VIEW Girls swimmer Amy Skaggs placed first in the 100- and 200-yard freestyles against Moapa Valley and also swam on the winning 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams. Boys swimmer Jason Gifford won the 100 and 200 freestyles against Moapa Valley and swam on the first-place 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay teams.

BISHOP GORMAN Boys volleyball player Kenny Sullivan had 12 kills, four blocks and five assists against Durango.

CENTENNIAL Girls swimmer Kristin Farbridge-Currie won the 200-yard individual medley in 2 minutes, 18.8 seconds against Mojave. Boys golfer Brian Ross shot 77 to lead the Bulldogs to a second-place finish in a Northwest Division Match at Painted Desert.

CIMARRON-MEMORIAL Boys volleyball player Dustin Larsen totaled 28 kills and 10 digs in two matches. Softball pitcher Jennifer Liddell pitched a one-hitter and drove in the winning run in a 2-1 victory over Arbor View.

CLARK Girls swimmer Jeannie Hardy posted regional qualifying times in the 100-yard backstroke and 200 freestyle. Boys swimmer Benjamin Seglin has qualified for regionals in the 200 individual medley, 100 butterfly, 100 freestyle and 500 freestyle.

CORONADO Softball player Tristina Shibata pitched a three-hitter with seven strikeouts and went 2-for-4 as the Cougars defeated Silverado, 2-0.

DURANGO Boys volleyball player Darren Torrie had 26 assists in a victory over Bishop Gorman.

GREEN VALLEY Baseball player Tyler Jones was 10-for-17 with two doubles a grand slam and seven RBIs in five games.

LAS VEGAS Softball pitcher Jennifer Gliddon earned three victories, allowing nine hits and four runs in 19 innings with 21 strikeouts. Baseball player Marvin Campbell hit three home runs, including a grand slam, to help lead the Wildcats to three wins.

PALO VERDE Baseball player Jordan Worley pitched a shutout with eight strikeouts against Centennial and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs. Girls swimmer Melissa Marinch won the 50- and 100-yard freestyles against Bishop Gorman.

SIERRA VISTA Softball player Tayler Aleman batted .444 with eight RBIs, five runs and two stolen bases in four games. Boys track athlete Mitchell Paul placed first in the 3,200-meter run and second in the 1,600 in a meet against Pahrump Valley, Bishop Gorman and Durango.

SILVERADO Boys volleyball player Joey Paratore totaled 16 kills, 13 locks and 10 service points in two victories.

SPRING VALLEY Boys swimmer Jake Maris has posted regional qualifying times in the 100-yard backstroke, the 100 breaststroke and 200 individual medley.

VALLEY Softball player Vanessa Corona was 3-for-4 with two doubles, three runs and four RBIs against Chaparral. Boys volleyball player Hassan Chehab had 18 kills and 19 digs in a win over Chaparral.
