Discount Las Vegas Grand Prix tickets available for Nevada residents

Nevada residents can purchase single-day tickets to the Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix for as low as $200.

Silver State residents can purchase the discount tickets during an exclusive buying period between 7 a.m. and midnight Friday.

Tickets to grandstand areas start at $200 before taxes and fees, with passes to hospitality areas beginning at $1,200 before taxes and fees.

“We’re excited to introduce more opportunities for fans, especially those based here in Las Vegas, to attend the inaugural race weekend and customize their experience on a priority basis,” Las Vegas Grand Prix Inc. CEO Renee Wilm said in a statement. “This advance ticket purchase window allows us to show our gratitude and appreciation to the local community before making our limited remaining inventory available to our fans globally.”

The inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix is scheduled for Nov. 16-18 on a 3.8-mile circuit, mainly consisting of public roads including Las Vegas Boulevard, Koval Lane and Sands and Harmon avenues. Portions of the track run inside of Formula One’s pit building on the northeast corner of Harmon and Koval and around the Sphere arena.

All single-day tickets include admission to live entertainment, fan activations, and food and beverage offerings in the following areas at multiple price points:

T-Mobile Zone at Sphere Grandstands.

PG2 Grandstand at East Harmon Zone by Virgin Hotels.

Heritage.

Heineken House.

Club Paris.

Club SI.

Purchasers must have a valid Nevada ZIP code to buy the discounted locals race tickets. Fans will be able to buy the tickets on the race’s website, or on the Las Vegas Grand Prix app.

Fans with tickets in the Sphere spectator zone will have access to live entertainment, including performances from J Balvin, Major Lazer, Mark Ronson and Kylie Minogue. Additional entertainment is also planned for the East Harmon Zone, with performances to be announced soon.

The daily race schedule is as follows:

Gates open at 6 p.m. each day, Nov. 16 – Nov. 18.

Nov. 17

Free practice 3: 8:30 p.m.

Qualifying: Midnight

The Las Vegas Grand Prix begins at 10 p.m.

App launch

The smartphone app that will help guide Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix users around the race’s footprint is also scheduled to be released Friday.

The app, built in partnership with YinzCam, Inc., will launch for iOS and Android users at 7 a.m. Friday, race officials announced. It includes advanced technology allowing for simple navigation of the circuit and surrounding areas and interactive 3D maps that guide fans to their designated entry points and seating areas tied to their ticket and accessibility needs.

Directions will be updated in real time based on trackside conditions to help alleviate congestion and improve amenities.

The app will also serve as an all-in-one race assistant, allowing access to each day’s schedules, access to tickets, exclusive video content, team and driver information, and merchandise purchases.

“We are also thrilled to launch our official F1 Las Vegas app, which will enhance the guest experience throughout the circuit and bring a whole new level of connectivity during race weekend,” Wilm said.
