Race 2 – 1 mile, Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

6 Savannah Sky – Rafael Bejarano has been riding first call for the white hot Richard Baltas barn; all these guys do is win.

3 Boat Drinks – Drayden Van Dyke had options and chose to ride here for John Sadler; switches from turf to dirt for this.

Long Shot – 2 Mahee

Race 3 – 1 1/8th miles (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $60,000, Optional claiming $62,500, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

6 Arethusa – Was given an tough task last time in the grade 3 Santa Barbara; gets class relief and is reunited with Rafael Bejarano.

1 One More – Speedy sort draws the rail to save every inch of ground; a few years ago Mario Gutierrez was to ride I’ll Have Another in NY.

Long Shot – 4 Royal Temptress

Race 4 – 1 1/8th miles, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, 3-year-olds and up

8 Rob’s Golden Touch – Sliding down the maiden claiming ladder to this career low class; showed solid improvement in second start.

4 Hazardous Dreams – Another taking a slide down the maiden claiming ladder; has back speed numbers fast enough to crush these.

Long Shot – 1 Blame It On Tekela

Race 5 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $35,000, Maiden claiming $75,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

1 Housemaker – I like the rail post at a 2-turn mile on turf or dirt; short run to the first turn guarantees saving lots of ground.

2 Katy Drama – 3 of her 4 turf starts have been down the hillside turf course; she did run a mile once and lost less than a length.

9 Annie’s Candy – Did everything but win in his career debut; interesting rider switch to Tyler Baze for the money shot.

2 Boldly True – Rafael Bejarano also rides first call for the maestro Jerry Hollendorfer; this FTS figures to be live on the tote.

Race 7 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $80,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds

7 Paulina’s Love – Graduated first time out of the box for new barn, Richard Baltas; Rafael Bejarano for Gary Stevens who is at Belmont.

9 Miss Boom Boom – That was a brutal inch loss last time as the chalk; vote of confidence is getting mounts from Jerry Hollendorfer.

Long Shot – 2 Elementar

Race 8 – 6 furlongs, Purse $21,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up

4 Newfound Gold – Been away since a win in late October; he returns in a no claim spot, an extremely strong trainer angle.

2 Endless Cruise – Bill Spawr and Joe Talamo have a budding relationship; not often a horse wins and is dropped down in class.
