Race 2 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse #17,000, Claiming $8,000, 3-year-olds and up

4 Mensa Heat – Been nibbling at this bottom class level, cashing lots of paychecks; 8-YO gelding has earned $537K the hard way.

6 Electrolyte – Claimed in NoCal by trainer Steve Miyadi; been chasing Mensa Heat in 3 of last 4 starts.

Long Shot – 5 Dekko

4 Line Leader – Beaten favorite ran very well in career debut; figures to pop the gate again and play catch me if you can.

1 Slew’s Charm – Ran evenly in debut, but couldn’t get out of second gear; figures to improvement second time out for Mike Harrington.

Race 4 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 30 feet), Purse $60,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 3-year-olds and up

2 Jules Journey – No doubt turf is his preferred surface; has been in the money 8-of-10 Santa Anita sod starts.

1 Oliver’s Tale – Turf debut was a scorching win down the hillside turf course; now stretching out to a mile, has the pedigree for it.

Long Shot – 4 Super Ability

Race 5 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up

3 Gospel – Sliding down the maiden claiming ladder to this bottom rung; has back speed numbers to drown this group.

8 Omar Little – Claimed by Mike Pupye off a hard fought second; returns in a softer spot at this bottom class level.

Long Shot – 9 Chattering Class

Race 6 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 30 feet), Purse $31,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

4 Bird In Love – The Doug O’Neill barn has been white hot of late; takes the blinkers off after it did not get the desired result.

3 La Pequena Gigi – Sliding down the maiden claiming ladder to a much easier spot; Mark Glatt adding the blinkers on for more focus.
